blueEX Tracking Number Guide: Formats & Verification

What a blueEX tracking number looks like, and where to find it in SMS messages, emails and on your receipt.

What is a blueEX tracking ID (CN number)?

Your tracking number, also called the tracking ID or consignment note (CN) number, is a code given to one parcel when it is booked with blueEX. blueEX is run by Universal Network Systems Limited, and this code links your parcel to its record in their system.

Every step is saved against this code: pickup from the seller, weighing at the first hub, the trip between cities and the final hand-over to a rider. Without the right tracking number, there is no way to look up the parcel.

What the tracking number looks like

blueEX tracking numbers are made to be read by barcode scanners, so they follow a few simple rules:

Character Length

Our tracker accepts codes from 5 to 30 characters long. Copy the full code from your SMS or receipt rather than guessing its length.

Character Types

The code uses capital letters A to Z and numbers 0 to 9, sometimes with a hyphen. Capital or small letters both work in our tracker.

Where to find your blueEX tracking number

1. The SMS from the store

When an online store books your parcel with blueEX, you usually get an SMS. It names the courier and gives the tracking number and the amount to pay on delivery.

2. The order email from the store

Order and shipping emails from online stores often have a "Shipment Details" part. Look there for a link or for a code marked as the courier tracking number.

3. Physical Booking Receipts

If you send a parcel yourself from a blueEX center, you get a printed receipt. The tracking number is printed in bold right under the barcode.

Common mistakes with tracking numbers

If you see "Invalid Consignment Number" or "Record Not Found", check these common mistakes before you call support:

Order ID Confusion: Do not type your store order number, such as a Shopify or WooCommerce order ID. Only the blueEX tracking number works.
Accidental Whitespace: Copying from a phone can add a space at the end. Delete any extra spaces before you search.
Letter O or number 0? The capital letter O and the number 0 look alike. Check the code carefully on a clear copy of your receipt or SMS.

What is printed on a blueEX parcel label

The sticker on your parcel has several numbers on it. Knowing which is which stops you from typing the wrong one:

Primary Optical Barcode

This is the long striped pattern on the label. Scanners read it at each stop, and the tracking number is printed just below it.

Destination Route Code

Some labels also show a short code for the city or branch the parcel is going to. That code is used for sorting and is not your tracking number.

COD Payment Summary

On COD parcels, a box shows the exact cash amount the receiver pays at the door.

Consignee Contact Field

This is the phone number the parcel was booked with. The rider uses it to call you when they arrive or need directions.

How to find a lost blueEX tracking number

If you deleted the SMS or lost your paper receipt, try these steps:

Contact the Retail Merchant: The online store keeps a record of every parcel it books. Give them your order number and ask for the blueEX tracking number.
Review SMS History: Search your phone’s messages for "blueEX" or the store’s name. Old messages usually still have a working tracking link.
Inquire via Customer Support: If you booked at a blueEX center yourself, call the blueEX helpline with the booking date, sender name, receiver phone number and destination, and ask whether they can find the booking.

Keep your tracking number private

Your tracking number can show the destination city and how the delivery is going. To keep that private:

Do not post full tracking screenshots on social media or review sites. If you ask for help online, hide some of the digits first.
